- Nagorny Karabakh is a part of Azerbaijan as it is proved in the internal legislation of the Republic of Azerbaijan and documents of international organizations (See Map No.3761 Rev.5 United Nations). But currently Nagorny Karabakh is under the control of Armenian military troops de facto and the separatist-terrorist regime had proclaimed a fictitious independent state – “Nagorno-Karabakh Republic” in 1991, September 2 in the territory. But the unit has not been recognized by any state, including Armenia and international institutions of the world.
