Huseynov Javid Agha oglu – was in Armenian captivity from January 5th, 1994 to May 8th, 1995

“While I was a captive in Shusha prison the Armenian supervisors by the name Slavick and Vladick branded my arm with the hammer heated in the fire. During my captivity in there they burnt one captive alive in front of my eyes whose name I did not know. Beating and torturing regularly they killed the captive by the name Arif who was from Ahmedallar village of Fizuli district. The supervisors who tortured and beat captives most of all in there were Armenians by the name Arthur and Maxim. The supervisors used to make us form up and the parents of the Armenian soldiers who died in the fight chose several captives who had formed up and on purpose of revenge cut their heads on the tombs of their sons as a sacrifice. One day when we were in the captivity – in January the supervisor by the name Maxim made all the captives form up. He told me he had brought a New Year present for us. Maxim ordered me to take the New Year present from the sack. But what I took was just a human head. It was the head of a fellow by the name Farman from the Zagatala region”.
